About The London Acoustic Guitar Show
The London Acoustic Guitar Show, in association with Acoustic Magazine, is aimed squarely at providing a fully dedicated two-day acoustic show for the UK acoustic guitar community.

The show will feature globally recognised musicians and bands along with a full and wide ranging exhibition of the very latest acoustic instruments and associated gear. This unique show is designed to promote the ever increasing popularity of the acoustic guitar and the many styles of music associated with it.

Not only do the UK music loving public deserve such a show, but the UK music industry demands it too. In response to this tide of interest, The London Acoustic Guitar Show has been born and in association with Acoustic Magazine, (www.acousticmagazine.com) represents the most significant and exciting means of promoting this key sector of the guitar market.

The London Acoustic Guitar Show is to premiere on September 10-11th 2011 at the prestigious Olympia venue in London. UK acoustic players will have the opportunity to observe first-hand the latest products and gear, watch the world’s top players in action performing within the 500 capacity mainstage auditorium and attend superb master-classes and clinics, all under one roof. Access to all the live performances and clinics is included within the cost of admission, there are no hidden costs to watch any of the main stage performances or any of the engaging and informative master classes. However, the live shows are available on a first come first serve basis - so do get there early in order to collect your free main stage performance tickets from the relevant stands.

Industry leaders, top UK specialist retailers and international guitar builders who were amongst the very first to commit to the two day show have included; Yamaha, Strings & Things, Taylor, Lakewood, Tanglewood, Ibanez, Freshman, Rotosound, Trace Eliott, Dave King, D’addario, The Acoustic Guitar Company, Veillette, Taran, Avalon, The Classical Guitar Centre, The North American Guitar Company and Patrick James Eggle. The list is growing daily, so keep an eye on www.londonacousticguitarshow.com for further confirmed exhibitors and the artist announcements for each day.

“It’s very exciting that the industry both here in the UK and across Europe and the US are so behind this dedicated acoustic guitar show”, states Hugo Montgomery-Swan, MD of Oyster House Media and publisher of Acoustic Magazine. “Furthermore, we shall soon be in a position to announce details of some of the international artists and bands we are currently in discussion with over performing on the LAGS Live Stage.”

Once again, following the recent successes of its two other dedicated and specialist shows, www.londondrumshow.com & www.londonbassguitarshow.com  Oyster House is continuing to prove that, coupled to the first class facilities of West London’s premier event venue, Olympia; dedicated, affordable, high quality exhibitions featuring first class live performances, are truly the winning formula for both public and industry alike.
